Dear Family & Friends of SVMC,
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of you who made donations to Wreaths Across America, December 14, 2013. It is individuals like you who have entrusted us with the memorialization of your loved ones, that makes Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery the veteran’s pride, not only of the Finger Lakes, but also the nation.
On a cold winter’s day over 70 veterans, family & friends braved the frigid weather to take part in our 2013 service. Each year this event will become larger as we continue to provide services to veterans and their dependents. With your generous support, we were able to place a Holiday Wreath at each gravesite in honor of those interred at Sampson.
As always, if there is anything I can do to be of service to you or your families feel free to contact me. As this New Year begins we feel we are in a good position to qualify as the first N.Y. State Veterans Cemetery. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we pursue this recently passed legislation.
Mark your calendars for our Memorial Day services, Monday 26 September 2014. I guarantee it will be a little bit warmer for that event.
